Happy holidays!

I love how glittery nutcrackers are...

... and how easy it was to make my glittery skull Christmas appropriate (much to Jack's dismay.)

I know I've been a little distant this month -- it's not you, it's me. (Seriously, though.) While there are some insanely fabulous bloggers out there who managed to do it all this holiday season, I was definitely not one of them. Between work and ... work ... and ... more work, I'm exhausted. Luckily, though, I get a break starting today. I'm heading to upstate New York -- middle-of-nowhere upstate New York, to be exact -- and I'm beyond excited. It's just going to be my dad, Jack, and me -- (and FOUR dogs) -- and I plan on sitting in front of the fireplace with some wine and food, reading a book and watching TV. Don't expect any outfit pics as I will be wearing sweatpants 24/7.

It's pretty much going to be the greatest four days EVER.

I'll be back soon -- rested and recharged.

Happy holidays, one and all!

Love,
B

P.S. -- Don't worry -- Lou the cat is being cared for by cool Kevin. Lou's not really the traveling type.
